Geeks-in-Residence

Geeks-In-Residence is the Sync programme where developers and designers are placed with forward-looking cultural organisations and allocated £6k of funding for their time.

Together they to work to identify a project that is the best match of the host’s interest and the geek’s skills.  And as well as the making of the project, the second important element of the residency is that the geek exposes as much of their process as they can to help the two-way knowledge transfer between them and the host

Our 5 cultural hosts for 2013 are:

The Arches
Bodysurf Scotland
Edinburgh Art Festival
National Theatre of Scotland &
Visible Fictions
